WHO IS COLLECTING YOUR INFORMATION?

The Website is owned and operated by SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION ("SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION", "we", "us" or "our"). This Policy applies only to the Website and to our Apps. SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION is the sole owner of the information collected on the Website or through the Apps.

LINKS

The Website and the Apps may contain links to other sites whose privacy policies may differ from those of SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION which we recommend you carefully review and consider. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other websites even if you access them using links from our Website or the Apps.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Personal Information from the Website or the Apps may be gathered in two ways: (1) indirectly, i.e., certain Website information about you, such as domain name, IP address, browser type and page views, mobile device ID and type, and geolocation which may be collected through our Website's or our Apps' technology to provide certain functionality to you, to remember you when you return, to customize our Website to your preferences and manage content, and compile statistics about Website usage; and (2) directly, when (a) you voluntarily submit Personal Information such as, first and last names, addresses, email address(es), phone numbers, birthdate, marital status, number of children and their ages, social network and 'handle' data, preference information, or survey answers/opinions, in connection with various marketing and promotional activities, surveys or contests conducted on the Website or through the Apps; (b) when you register to become a user of the Website or the Apps we will collect the password and security question/answer. We also may collect personal information when you join the Loyalty Program, purchase gift cards, or provide information for Special Events. When we collect this type of information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for information and how this information will be used either in this Policy or separately at the point at which the information is collected if not described in this Policy.

JOB POSTINGS

The Website may include job postings from time to time for various SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION restaurant locations or our corporate offices. You may be given the opportunity to apply for job openings online through an applicant tracking system operated by Ulti-Pro by creating an account and submitting an application via the Website, which is usually received by the human resources department. If submitted through that tracking system, your resume or CV and other Personal Information (collectively, "Job Posting Information") will be made available to the owner, operator or manager of the SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION location or SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION office to which you are applying (which could be a different company from SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION). In addition, your Job Posting Information will be stored in that tracking system in an electronic database maintained by Ulti-Pro in the United States on behalf of SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION and the operators, owners and managers of SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION locations and corporate offices.

In some cases, the Website might list the email address of a contact person at the applicable hiring company. Any Job Posting Information sent to that email address will be maintained in accordance with this Policy. If you have any questions about these practices please contact privacypolicy@srcmail.com.

All such Job Posting Information may be used by the applicable hiring company for the purpose of assessing your suitability for current and future job vacancies and to pursue your recruiting process. The use of the information provided will be governed by this Privacy Policy.

You will also be required to create an account with a user name and password when using the applicant tracking system. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that username and password, and for any unauthorized access or use of your user name and password, except where due to the negligence or other fault of SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION.

If at any time you want your Personal Information, resume or CV to be deleted, you simply need to notify SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS CORPORATION.

Some information that we collect about you is collected passively through the use of "cookies." Cookies are small files of information, which save and retrieve information about your visit to the Website - for example, how you entered and navigated our Website, and what information was of interest to you. We use this information to remember you when you return and to customize our Website to your preferences.

There are two types of cookies: session and persistent cookies.

Session Cookies. Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser or turn off your computer. We may use session cookies to allow our systems to uniquely identify you during a session or while you are logged into the Site. This would allow us to process your online transactions and requests and verify your identity, after you have logged in, as you move through our Site.

Persistent Cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you have closed your browser or turned off your computer.

Disabling Cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your computer from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Visitors to our Site who disable cookies will be able to browse certain areas of the Site, but some features may not function.

DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

Currently, our systems allow you to decline cookies. You may, also, disable certain tracking as discussed in the cookies policy (e.g., by disabling cookies). We have a "do-not-track" system as a part of our cookie choices.

THIRD PARTY ANALYTICS/TRACKING

We may also use automated devices and applications, such as Google Analytics, to evaluate usage of our Site. We also may use other analytic means to evaluate our services. We may use these tools to help us improve our services, performance and user experiences. These entities may use cookies, tracking pixels and other tracking technologies to perform their services. We do not share sell for monetary gain your personal information with these third parties.

You have the full and free right to opt-out of our disclosure of your personal information to any third parties where the disclosure constitutes "selling" or "sharing" as defined by the California Privacy Rights Act. You may exercise your right to opt-out without fear of discrimination for doing so. To opt-out of our selling or sharing of your information, meaning, we will not disclose your information to third parties for any monetary or other valuable consideration, you can do any of the following:
  • Click HERE to be taken to an online opt-out submission form.
  • Visit any Company location in California to request a paper opt-out submission form.
  • You can use a Global Privacy Controls (GPC) signal. Specialty Restaurants Corporation will process opt-out preferences from GPC signals, which are in formats commonly used and recognized by businesses, such as an HTTP field header, as requests to opt-out of sale or sharing. The GPC signal opt-out will only apply to the browser you are using on your device; it will not apply to other browsers and/or devices to which GPCs are not activated or to offline sales.
  • If you are unable to submit an opt-out through any of the above methods, please call our toll-free privacy line at 855.531.4662 for assistance and a representative will assist in meeting your needs.

  • You can have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf. To submit an opt-out through use of an authorized agent, you must provide that agent with written permission signed by you to submit an opt-out on your behalf, except when using an opt-out preference signal. The authorized agent may call our toll-free privacy line at 855.531.4662 to make the opt-out request and for directions for submitting the proof of authorization and the authorized agent's proof of identification to the Company. We maintain the right to deny any request from an authorized agent that does not submit sufficient proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
A request to opt-out need not be a verifiable consumer request. However, we may deny a request to opt-out if we have a good faith, reasonable, and documented belief that a request to opt-out is fraudulent. If we deny your request to opt-out, we shall inform you of our decision not to comply and provide an explanation as to why we believe the request is fraudulent.

    OPT-OUT PREFERENCE SIGNALS

Opt-out preference signals provide consumers with a simple and easy-to-use method by which to exercise the right to opt-out of the selling and sharing of their information. Global Privacy Controls (GPC) is a user-enabled opt-out preference signal which can communicate a user's "Do Not Sell or Share" request on behalf of the person or device. We will process opt-out preferences from GPC signals which are in formats commonly used and recognized by businesses, such as an HTTP field header. We will treat a consumer's use of GPCs as a valid request to opt-out of the selling and sharing of information for that browser. We currently do not connect browser use to particular consumers and, as such, you will need to use GPCs on all browsers in which you access our website and use our opt-out form to opt-out of offline sales.
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set if they do not want web services to collect information about their online activity. We do not respond to DNT signals or other mechanisms (with the exception of GPCs) that provide a choice regarding the collection of personal information about activities over time and across different websites or online services.
